Places I have lived in the past.

Until I was about 6 years old, I lived in Shepparton, in Central Victoria, Australia.
I then moved to Ardmona, a nearby country district on the orchard where my father worked.
I was sent to boarding school, initially in Geelong.
After 3 years I was told to leave there because I was not a well enough behaved student.
I then went to a boarding school in Melbourne.
Since leaving school, I have mainly lived in shared accommodation.
In 1973 I purchased an old double fronted weatherboard house in Richmond, an inner Melbourne suburb.
It cost $14000, and I paid $7000 deposit. the balance was on 7.5% vendor terms.
I rented out most to the rooms of the house, enjoyed having a variety of people living there, and the rent helped me to pay more of the mortgage.
I went on the Jesus Christ Superstar Concert tour, working as a sound maintenance technician.
In Adelaide, just before opening night I was working very long hours getting the sound system ready.
In order to save the time it would take traveling to and from the motel, and allow me a little more time for much needed sleep, I slept at the venue.
After the concert tour, Jesus Christ Superstar played at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney.
Sometimes I lived in the theatre in Sydney. Other times I lived in a room in shared accommodation.
One time I lived with other members of the Superstar crew and slept behind the couch in the lounge in an old three storey terrace in Surry Hills.
I wanted to live as cheaply as possible so I could quickly finish paying off the house I had in Melbourne.
I always had somewhere to live.
Back in Melbourne, I enjoyed again living in my own home with other people.
Eventually I had a partner and shared the house only with her.

When my daughter was born, my partner and I decided to rent a unit as it was difficult living with a new baby in a partly renovated house.
I eventually sold the house that I owned and purchased a brand new house in Seaford, a bay side suburb.
However the house was a long way from the beach, and the amount of time traveling to work near the city was too much for me. The style of the house was not satisfying for me. It was a brick veneer house and there were no trees on the property./
I sold that house. We lived in an old weatherboard house in East Hawthorn, a fairly new unit in Blackburn, and then an older unit in Blackburn.
When our daughter was older, I again lived in shared accommodation, sub-letting spare rooms.
I have more recently found a room in shared accommodation at various places where I have lived.
